Did you know SASH SMART offer secondary glazing as well as traditional timber sash windows. We know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but we have tried to be as
sympathetic to a period house as we possibly can. Our units are powder coated white aluminium frames set in timber to match the traditional white paintwork normally
If you want to improve on street noise then secondary glazing is a very effective way of dealing with this. It can be paired up with replacement double glazed or acoustic sashes for an even better performance and still without having to change the existing box framesfound on a sash window. They also tilt in for cleaning of the primary window which is a real bonus.
